Job summary

Healthfirst is seeking an Instructional Designer to design and develop multi-modal learning programs aligned with the Healthfirst culture and digital transformation goals. The role emphasizes rapid prototyping, content development, and measurable outcomes.

The position is hybrid, reporting to NY or FL offices on specified days, and requires collaboration with learning leaders, SMEs and stakeholders to deliver engaging learning experiences and improved business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Instructional Technology or related adult learning field.
• Two years or more experience in design and development of learning using industry standard course authoring tools and outcomes-driven learning solutions.
• Advanced knowledge of PowerPoint, Word, and Excel; Experience with LMS and tracking tools.
• Ability to translate complex processes into clear learning solutions.
• Strong planning, organizing, and execution skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; strategic thinking.

Responsibilities

• Identify learning objectives, gather requirements, define outcomes and success metrics.
• Collaborate with SMEs, media developers and stakeholders to develop learning assets.
• Perform rapid prototyping and content development from needs analysis.
• Design and develop learning materials for asynchronous and synchronous delivery.
• Create content to support a comprehensive learning experience (outlines, guides, handouts, job aids).
• Develop multimedia assets using Adobe Creative Suite or comparable tools.
• Ensure materials align with standards and frameworks across the organization.
• Test and validate e-Learning and digital content for end-user experience.
