Job summary

Association for Talent Development (ATD) invites an Instructional Design Project Manager to join our Education department in Alexandria, VA. You will lead education product development, revisions, and maintenance, coordinating with internal teams, SMEs, and external partners to deliver high-quality courses.

The role requires guiding content to align with ATD standards for quality, accessibility, and learner experience, while analyzing data to enhance the portfolio and user journey.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; Master’s preferred.
• 5+ years of instructional design, education, and project management experience.
• Experience in fast-paced, tech-inspired culture with strong business acumen.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG, Section 508) and validating accessibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional project teams including vendors to deliver education products.
• Oversee full product development lifecycle from planning to closeout.
• Source instructional design and SME resources for projects.
• Research industry trends to grow and scale the business line.
• Ensure programs meet quality, accessibility, and learning experience standards.
• Analyze data to optimize the product portfolio and user experience.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Enterprise Sales, and Global Education to support strategy.
