Job summary

Parametric Portfolio Associates LLC, part of Morgan Stanley Investment Management, seeks an institutional business development professional to drive investor engagement and grow a defined territory.

The role involves creating investor materials, coordinating with internal teams, maintaining Salesforce CRM, and assisting in proposals. A bachelor’s degree and 2–4 years in investment management are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required; CFA progress preferred.
• 2–4 years’ experience in investment management.
• FINRA Series 3/7/63 preferred; must obtain within one year of hire.
• Strong written and oral communication, detail orientation, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop relationships within defined institutional territories.
• Prepare materials for prospective investors (decks, white papers, summaries).
• Streamline requests with internal teams and manage materials production.
• Deliver standardized meeting prep packages for directors and professionals.
• Maintain CRM (Salesforce) and manage pipeline, contacts, and updates.
• Qualify investors and assist in creating formal proposals.
