Job summary

Morgan Stanley's Parametric division seeks an Associate for Institutional Business Development to support the Institutional Sales and Service Team. You will help manage pipelines, prepare investor materials, and assist in roadshows and due diligence visits.

Work with two Institutional Business Development Directors to expand client relationships, qualify opportunities, and improve processes. Strong communication and teamwork are essential in a hybrid office setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• CFA, or progress towards, preferred.
• FINRA Series 3, 7, and 63 preferred; if hired, must obtain within one year of employment.
• 2-4 years’ experience in the investment management industry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; Salesforce a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify, build, and strengthen relationships to drive new sales activity within defined territories.
• Prepare materials for prospective investors (decks, product summaries, white papers).
• Create and deliver standardized meeting preparation packages for directors and investment professionals.
• Maintain CRM pipeline, reports, and contact updates (Salesforce).
• Profile/pre-qualify potential investors for various investment strategies and support in proposals.
• Support workflow improvements and ad-hoc projects with the institutional distribution team.
