Job summary

Parametric, part of Morgan Stanley Investment Management, seeks an Associate in Institutional Business Development to support the Institutional Sales and Service Team. You will assist with pipeline reporting, CRM upkeep, meeting materials, and investor due diligence visits.

You will collaborate with two Institutional Business Development Directors, pre-qualify investors, and help prepare proposals and decks to advance sales opportunities. The role blends office work with a hybrid schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• CFA, or progress towards, preferred.
• FINRA Series 3, 7, and 63 preferred; if hired, must obtain within one year.
• 2–4 years’ experience in the investment management industry.
• Dedicated, self-motivated, detail oriented, and confident with a long-term career in institutional investors.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; Salesforce a plus.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Works well within a team environment.
• Ability to solve problems and build strong relationships across departments.

Responsibilities

• Identify, build, and strengthen relationships to drive new sales activity.
• Prepare materials for prospective investors including decks, product summaries, white papers.
• Create standardized meeting preparation packages for Directors and Investment Professionals.
• Maintain Salesforce CRM; manage pipeline, contacts, and reports.
• Profile/pre-qualify potential investors for investment strategies.
• Support workflow and ad-hoc projects to improve team efficiency.
