Job summary

Morgan Stanley’s Parametric unit is seeking an Associate, Institutional Business Development to support the Institutional Sales and Service Team. You will manage pipeline reporting, CRM updates, and help plan investor meetings and roadshows with the BD Directors and Investment Professionals.

Responsibilities include preparing decks and materials, qualifying investors, and driving efficiency in workflow across the institutional distribution team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• Progress toward CFA preferred.
• FINRA Series 3/7/63 preferred; must obtain within one year.
• 2–4 years in the investment management industry.
• Detail oriented with strong communication and teamwork.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; Salesforce a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify and build relationships to drive new sales activity within defined territories.
• Prepare materials for prospective investors (decks, product summaries, white papers).
• Create standardized meeting preparation packages for BD Directors and Investment Professionals.
• Maintain Salesforce CRM: pipeline, opportunities, contacts, and reports.
• Profile/pre-qualify potential investors for investment strategies; assist in proposals.
• Support workflow improvements and ad-hoc projects with the team.
