Job summary

Grainger is seeking an Inside Sales Associate in Tempe to join a team-focused sales center. You will complete a 4-week paid training on-site, then transition to a hybrid schedule with two remote days per week and a book of 100+ mid-size accounts across select industries.

The start date is November 2, 2026, and you will be supported by coaching and regular contests to drive performance. You will cultivate customer relationships, source new opportunities, and strive to meet monthly targets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• Comfort speaking with customers by phone 50%+ of the day.
• Experience with customer relationship management software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales goals by maximizing customer time.
• Manage a book of business and build relationships.
• Source and prioritize new sales opportunities via outbound calls and email.
• Adapt communication to customer needs to solve challenges.
