Job summary

Automatic Data Processing, Inc. is seeking an Inside Sales Representative – Aftermarket – Power Generation in Bristol, PA. This hybrid role requires working 3 days a week on-site and coordinating with the power generation team to support customers.

You will respond to inquiries, prepare quotes, process orders, and collaborate with engineering, sales, and project management to ensure customer satisfaction. Travel may be required for customer visits and training.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Experience in power generation preferred.
• Knowledge of fluid power and/or automation and/or motion control products is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to understand technical concepts.
• Previous success in inside sales and/or experience in a technical support role is preferred.
• Experience in purchasing manufacturing or technical products is a plus.
• Excellent telephone personality with proven ability to maintain customer relationships.
• ERP, Epicor P21 and B2B experience is preferred.
• Highly proficient level of computer skills including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Capable of handling multiple high-pressure tasks.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and self-directed environment.
• Some occasional travel may be required for customer visits and training purposes.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries regarding products, services, pricing, availability, order status, and provide updates on engineering jobs and sales orders via email, phone, and website.
• Assist and advise customers in the selection of appropriate products and/or services based on requirements.
• Engage vendors to procure materials and expedite shipments.
• Prepare quotations, process orders and manage existing orders on the online platform and internal systems.
• Coordinate with other departments to fulfill customer requirements and resolve conflicts.
• Support and work with outside sales and power generation teams to build and retain customer relations.
• Make pricing decisions on demand and communicate with pricing teams to maintain accurate information.
• Update Monday.com for RFQ status and orders.
• Understand proprietary items and restrictions.
• Retrieve and submit RFQs to power generation portals.
• Enter Standard Deviation Requests through portals.
• Create spare parts quotes for open projects and upload to OneHub.
• Utilize power generation sites (SourceGate, GTCC etc) for information.
• Manage logistics information for international shipments.
• Work with engineering, sales and project management to support aftermarket questions.
• Work with Item Data and Website Team to improve kits and parts visibility on GE numbers and restricted items.
• Perform other related duties as directed by management and SOP.
