Job summary

Eaton is seeking an Inside Sales Engineer for a hybrid role within the ES AMER NAS division. You will support management and customers with technical and commercial solutions, close orders, and provide product knowledge across power distribution and protection areas.

The position targets candidates who can operate with minimal relocation, travel up to 10%, and collaborate across distributors, field teams, and internal departments to optimize sales and profit margins.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum one year of work experience.
• Possess a valid driver’s license.
• No relocation is offered; must reside within 50 miles of Boothwyn, PA; Franklin, MA; Hanover, MD; Moon Township, PA or Mountainside, NJ.
• Electrical or Mechanical Engineering degree is preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing or electrical distributors is a plus.
• Commercial, sales or marketing experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Support management, outside sales engineers and customers with technical, service and commercial solutions.
• Close orders using product knowledge, pricing, and market understanding.
• Provide technical product support for distributors and field teams.
• Project manage small to medium projects and coordinate with internal stakeholders.
• Maintain high level of customer relations and effective salesmanship across Eaton product lines.
