Job summary

Elevations Credit Union seeks an Information Security Analyst to coordinate and complete projects within the Information Security Program. The role evaluates current security situations, analyzes trends, and recommends improvements to protect data and meet regulatory requirements while pursuing ongoing learning.

Essential functions include managing access, conducting awareness campaigns, identifying vulnerabilities, monitoring for threats, and leading incident response activities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of information security or technology compliance experience.
• Experience monitoring and responding to security incidents, conducting vulnerability assessments and risk analysis, and managing security controls and access management.
• Ability to explain information security in non-technical terms.
• Ability to develop issue papers, memorandums, letters, work plans, and other written communications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Logical Security Access to applications and systems, including documentation and routine reviews.
• Conduct security awareness campaigns and phishing simulations.
• Identify, assess, and manage vulnerabilities across the technology portfolio and coordinate remediation.
• Monitor networks, systems, and applications for incidents and unusual activity.
• Manage risks from security assessments, audits and tests and coordinate with departments for remediation.
• Maintain incident response procedures and investigate/respond to security events.
• Prepare and deliver security reports, KPI, and KRI metrics to management.
• Contribute to security policy, standards, and guidelines.
• Stay informed on news and vulnerabilities affecting the organization.
