Job summary

Georgia’s Own Credit Union is seeking a senior cybersecurity engineer to implement, configure, monitor, and manage the internal cyber environment. You’ll ensure operational health and security across assets, maintaining documentation and change control as a trusted partner to the business.

This hybrid role supports enterprise technology and credit union projects, with in-person and remote options. You will respond to incidents, monitor tools, and escalate as needed to meet SLAs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field or equivalent information security certifications.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in a technical field focused on cyber security.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience building and administering cyber security products and controls.

Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, monitor, and manage the cyber environment to ensure availability and security.
• Lead vulnerability remediation, incident response, and change control processes.
• Document security infrastructure, diagrams, and asset lifecycle management.
• Collaborate with staff and vendors; provide day-to-day support and on-call coverage.
