Job summary

NetEffects is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to manage inbound shipments, coordinate transportation schedules, and ensure timely delivery of imported goods. The role requires experience in logistics, supply chain coordination, and precise shipment tracking.

Hours are Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM. On-site training for 2 weeks, followed by a hybrid work arrangement (3 days in-office, 2 days remote).

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics, scheduling, or supply chain coordination.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Familiarity with the Questto web platform.
• Experience tracking inbound shipments and transportation schedules.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with vendors, carriers, and internal teams.
• Ability to identify and resolve shipment delays and scheduling issues.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and monitor inbound shipments according to purchase order timelines and department guidelines.
• Track vessel schedules, transit times, shipment statuses, and delays.
• Communicate shipment updates to internal departments.
• Coordinate routing changes, carrier adjustments, and scheduling exceptions.
• Confirm container pickups and monitor shipment movement.
• Support Importer Security Filing (ISF) and customs documentation deadlines.
• Maintain accurate shipment records in internal logistics systems.
• Escalate transit delays, missed cutoffs, and vendor noncompliance to management.
• Collaborate with internal teams and transportation partners to ensure efficient import operations.
