Emergent Staffing in Seattle (onsite Mon-Thurs, optional remote Fridays) seeks a Shipping & Logistics Coordinator to manage international freight, tracking, and vendor coordination. The role supports purchasing, inventory, and cross-functional teams across China and Europe.

You will drive cost-effective freight, resolve delays, and maintain accurate logistics data while improving processes and supplier partnerships in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in shipping, logistics, or supply chain.
• Strong communication and coordination with vendors and carriers.
• Proficient in ERP/inventory or sales-processing systems.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate international shipping with cost-efficient freight.
• Book and manage freight shipments and consolidations.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, factories, and vendors.
• Track shipments from origin to delivery and resolve delays.
• Communicate timelines and changes to internal teams.
• Coordinate production timelines and inventory with international partners.
• Maintain vendor relationships and support accounting on discrepancies.
• Support inventory planning, forecasting, and replenishment.
• Prepare purchase orders and update shipment data in systems.
• Verify received goods match orders and specs.
