Job summary

Lineage Logistics in Pasadena, TX, is seeking a Transportation Coordinator to support day-to-day operations, plan shipments, and coordinate load consolidation in a hybrid work model (Remote Mondays and Fridays; In-Office Tue-Thu). You will work with customers and carriers to ensure timely pickups, cost efficiency, and smooth import/export processes.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 2 years in shipping or transportation coordination, along with experience using transportation management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field completed.
• 2 years shipping or transportation coordination experience or relevant certification.
• Thorough knowledge of shipping and transportation operations and import/export processes.
• Experience with transportation management software.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with multitasking ability.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate multiple orders across several customers daily.
• Set pickup/delivery appointments based on service and schedule requirements.
• Interface with customers to resolve issues and identify improvement opportunities.
• Ensure carrier/customer accessorial costs are communicated timely.
• Monitor carrier performance and suggest routing changes as needed.
• Evaluate carrier options and tender freight per cost/service needs.
