Job summary

Lightspeed Systems in Austin, TX is seeking an HR Operations Specialist who loves building scalable HR systems and processes. You will own our HRIS and ATS end-to-end, ensure data accuracy, and manage the employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding.

You’ll handle compliance recordkeeping (I-9, EEO/ACA reporting), benefits and leave administration, and develop clear SOPs. A focus on AI-enabled efficiency and scalable workflows will help Lightspeed grow.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in an HR admin or HR operations role with systems ownership.
• Proven track record building and strengthening HR systems and processes.
• Strong HRIS/ATS experience and data integrity focus.
• Detail-oriented with a documentation-first mindset.
• Knowledge of I-9, FMLA/leave basics, and recordkeeping.

Responsibilities

• Own HR systems data integrity across HRIS and ATS.
• Administer the employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding.
• Maintain compliance recordkeeping and postings.
• Administer benefits and leave logistics.
• Create SOPs and repeatable HR workflows.
• Support recruiting operations: post jobs and schedule interviews.
• Produce HR reports and dashboards.
• Leverage AI tools to draft communications and summarize data.
