Job summary

M&T Bank Corporation in Buffalo, NY is seeking an HR Service Center Specialist to provide support to employees, former workers and retirees. This role is hybrid (4 days onsite, 1 day remote) based in Buffalo, NY at the M&T Plaza.

You will respond to HR inquiries, assist with payroll, benefits enrollment, and HRIS transactions, while upholding HIPAA and corporate policies. Prior HR service experience and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Associates’ degree in HR, Business Admin, or Communications, or 3 years related experience.
• Proficient with word processing, spreadsheets, and industry software.
• Strong verbal and written communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact for HR inquiries via calls and tickets.
• Resolve payroll inquiries and discrepancies.
• Support HR policies and procedures for employees and managers.
• Assist with HRIS tasks, password resets, and process reviews.
• Coordinate benefits enrollment and liaison with providers.
