Job summary

Synchron, LLC is seeking an HR Program Support Analyst to provide personnel management support to the U.S. Navy Team Submarine organization at the Washington Navy Yard in Washington, DC. You will assist Team Sub in administering manpower management hiring programs for its civilian workforce.

Work location is the Washington Navy Yard with telework options 1-2 days per week after onboarding, and up to 2-4 months for full integration. Travel is potential but less than 10%.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years' experience with Navy Civilian Personnel.
• Knowledge of Federal Hiring Authorities.
• Experience with MS Teams and MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Knowledge and understanding of DOD, DoN, DRPM SUBS requirements, processes, goals, and objectives.
• BS/BA degree in business, management, or technical field (or commensurate experience).
• Active DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Process all Request for Personnel Actions, including recruitment, awards, reassignments, and separations that result in the issuance of Notices of Personnel Action or SF50.
• Support recruitment efforts to fill vacant positions using standard hiring practices and advise hiring managers on the best hiring or appointment authority to use in filling vacant positions.
• Create and maintain metrics of workforce demographics used in organizational briefs. Assess workforce demographics and advise management on the results to be used in strengthening the diversity of the organization.
• Serve as the PEO's central point-of-contact for command-wide data calls requiring responses. Inform senior leaders on the nature of data calls, coordinates responses and reports results to leadership.
• Evaluate the manpower needs of each program office, make position management recommendations, and analyze internal processes as they relate to workforce strategy and billet control, and process all personnel actions for Team Submarine.
