Job summary

Life Fitness / Hammer Strength in Rosemont, IL offers a Summer 2027 Human Resources Internship that blends on-site and remote work. The program provides mentorship, meaningful HR projects, and exposure to onboarding, engagement, and benefits programs.

You will collaborate with HR peers on a 12-week cross-functional case study and present recommendations to senior leaders. Local candidates with a 3.2+ GPA and 2028/2029 graduation are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be local to the Chicagoland area.
• Currently enrolled in a full-time bachelor's degree program with expected graduation in 2028 or 2029.
• Strong academic standing with a minimum GPA of 3.2.
• Interest in HR, employee experience, benefits, and organizational development.

Responsibilities

• Support onboarding and orientation activities for new team members.
• Assist with employee engagement initiatives and on-site programs.
• Maintain and update employee records with accuracy.
• Help create benefits communication materials and support benefits programs.
• Assist with HR projects focused on process improvement and operational effectiveness.
• Collaborate with HR team on day-to-day activities and special projects.
