Job summary

WSP USA in California seeks an HR Generalist to support the Mobility Operations Team in a hybrid role based out of Costa Mesa or Irvine, CA. You will advise managers and employees, work with Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Total Rewards, Benefits, and HRIS, and handle employee relations and performance management.

The role requires strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills, with proactivity in HR programs, policies, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 7+ years of relevant experience in human resources or equivalent role.
• PHR or SPHR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicate HR policies and procedures, advise managers and employees, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Participate in employee relations cases and develop action plans for resolution.
• Assist HRBPs with matters of significance such as salary decisions and promotions.
• Support policy adherence, performance coaching, documentation, and other HR actions.
• Provide input on labor law compliance and project communication strategies.
• Collaborate with centers of excellence on HR programs and initiatives.
• Stay current with California employment laws and HR best practices.
• Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.
