Job summary

XR Extreme Reach is seeking a highly autonomous People & Culture Business Partner in the Burbank area to advise business leaders and own client groups. You will balance strategic initiatives with operational HR responsibilities, including workforce planning, change management, and policy advisory.

The role requires strong California HR knowledge and experience in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of progressive HR experience with at least 2 years as an HRBP or strategic People Partner.
• Proven autonomy with track record of driving projects from ambiguity to execution.
• Deep knowledge of California labor laws, wage-and-hour compliance, FEHA guidelines, and Cal/OSHA standards.
• Experience supporting hybrid/remote global workforces across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Alignment: build cross-functional relationships with unit leaders to align talent strategies with business goals.
• Independent Problem Solving: identify bottlenecks and develop end-to-end solutions.
• Workforce Planning: forecast headcount needs and skill gaps with department leadership and FP&A.
• Change Management: lead organizational change initiatives and coaching.
• Day-to-Day HR Operations: onboarding, offboarding, status changes, and system updates.
• HRIS data maintenance, reporting, and documentation management.
• Policy inquiries and benefits administration support.
• Office/workplace management and safety program oversight in California.
