Job summary

The SAY San Diego is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to manage recruitment, onboarding and benefits, and to maintain HRIS data. The full-time role offers a hybrid remote schedule after 90 days and involves handling payroll-related inquiries, compliance, and employee questions.

Ideal candidates have a minimum of two years in recruiting, familiarity with California and federal labor practices, and competency with ADP Workforce Now or similar HRIS systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years recruiting experience preferred and in HR.
• SHRM or HRCI certification – highly preferred.
• Strong experience with ADP Workforce Now or other HRIS system.

Responsibilities

• Manage recruitment cycle and maintain HRIS for all job openings.
• Coordinate job fairs and vendor relationships.
• Administer benefits, COBRA, and payroll-related information.
• Assist with onboarding, new hire meetings, and work authorizations.
• Oversee family medical leave, FMLA, CFRA, and OSHA compliance.
• Maintain policy documentation and respond to inquiries.
