Zak Designs seeks an HR Generalist to support employees across the full lifecycle from recruiting through onboarding, benefits, and offboarding in a hybrid role based in Airway Heights, WA.

The position offers exposure to HR operations, reporting, compliance, and cross-functional collaboration with payroll, finance, IT, and operations. Competitive hourly pay and professional growth opportunities are provided.

Formación

• 5 years of progressive HR generalist or operations experience incl. HRIS, records management, benefits, recruitment, onboarding, and employment documentation.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent education and relevant experience may be considered.
• Working knowledge of HR policies, employment practices, recordkeeping, and compliance requirements.
• HR certification is a plus.
• Experience coordinating workplace safety documentation, training records, and incident reporting is a plus.
• Proficiency with HRIS and applicant tracking systems, spreadsheets, and Microsoft Office; Paylocity preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with discretion handling confidential information.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain accurate HRIS data and personnel records, including forms, templates, and access controls.
• Prepare reports for headcount, turnover, recruitment, onboarding, benefits, and HR metrics.
• Answer questions and identify improvements to workflows, data integrity, and administrative efficiency.
• Manage benefits records and enrollment changes within timelines.
• Reconcile enrollment data across HRIS, payroll, provider records, and invoices.
• Support benefits reporting, audits, eligibility tracking, and notices while protecting confidential information.
• Coordinate job postings and recruiting processes, including ATS, interview coordination, candidate communications, and hire documentation.
• Track candidate progress and coordinate offers, screenings, and hiring requirements.
• Administer onboarding, including forms, acknowledgments, system access, and orientation.
• Support offboarding with exit interviews and status updates.
• Maintain confidential, audit-ready HR documentation and ensure compliance with policy deadlines.
• Coordinate workplace health and safety administration, training schedules, attendance, inspections, and incident documentation.
• Assist with leaves, accommodations, and employment status changes; escalate issues to HR leadership.
