Job summary

Baxter Shared Services is seeking an Employment Practices Manager (HR Manager) to lead employee relations, investigations, and policy compliance across multiple markets in the central U.S. The role focuses on developing leaders, ensuring regulatory compliance, and partnering with legal and talent teams.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of complex ER experience, familiarity with EEO/FMLA/ADA/FLSA, and travel across Nebraska, Kansas, Colorado, and Wisconsin.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in complex employee relations with conflict resolution and investigations.
• Knowledge of EEO, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, workers’ compensation.
• Willingness to travel to Nebraska, Kansas, Colorado, and Wisconsin locations.
• Bachelor’s degree required; professional HR certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct HR Employee Relations, investigations, and policy compliance.
• Respond to sensitive concerns, conduct internal investigations into misconduct and performance issues.
• Develop leaders on performance management and employment policies.
• Provide employment-law training to leaders and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Manage leaves, unemployment claims, and worker authorization processes.
• Collaborate with legal counsel and cross-functional teams on HR projects.
