Job summary

Baxter Shared Services is seeking an Employment Practices Manager (HR Manager) to lead complex employee relations, investigations, and compliance across Nebraska, Kansas, Colorado, and Wisconsin. The role blends strategic leadership with hands-on policy execution in a hybrid work environment.

You will partner with general managers, store leaders, and the Talent Acquisition team to ensure lawful, fair employment practices while driving employee satisfaction and business results across multiple

Qualifications

• 5+ years in complex employee relations with investigations
• Knowledge of EEO, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, WC laws
• Travel to NE, KS, CO, WI required
• High school diploma at minimum
• US driver’s license required

Responsibilities

• Lead complex employee relations investigations and policy interpretations
• Develop leaders on performance management and compliance
• Deliver training on employment topics to build law knowledge
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies
• Coordinate leave management across multiple states
• Support Talent Acquisition with pre-employment review guidance
• Oversee workforce documentation and reporting
• Engage with legal counsel on employment matters
• Participate in HR projects and tool/vendor initiatives
