Brunswick Corporation's Freedom Boat Club is seeking an Human Resources Coordinator to join our HR team, providing administrative and operational support across multiple seasonal markets. This role assists with recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, benefits administration, compliance activities, and handling employee inquiries while helping ensure a positive employee experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 1-3 years of human resources, administrative, or related experience.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously.
• High attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
• Must handle confidential and sensitive material appropriately and with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service while answering employee requests and questions.
• Support workforce planning and hiring administration through requisition management, seasonal hiring tracking, and onboarding support.
• Coordinate new hire communications and ensure onboarding tasks and paperwork are completed.
• Maintain and update employee personnel files and HR systems.
• Process employment status changes in the HR system, including hires, transfers, promotions, and terminations.
• Assist with benefits enrollment and respond to employee questions regarding benefit programs.
• Assist and prepare reports, audits, and documentation as needed.
• Administrative support in leave of absence tracking, FMLA, state leaves, workers compensation and other employee-related processes.
• Support the distribution and accessibility of company policies and employment resources across all locations.
• Assist with employee engagement initiatives, training programs, and projects.
