Job summary

Freedom Boat Club, a division of Brunswick Corporation, is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to join our HR Team. This role provides administrative and operational support across multiple seasonal markets, focusing on recruitment, onboarding, employee records, benefits, compliance, and employee inquiries to ensure a positive experience.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree in HR or related field, 1-3 years HR/administrative experience, and strong communication and organizational skills.

• Process employment status changes in the HR system (hires, transfers, promotions, terminations).
• Assist with benefits enrollment and respond to employee questions regarding benefits.
• Assist and prepare reports, audits, and documentation as needed.
• Support leave tracking, FMLA, state leaves, workers' comp, and related processes.
• Support distribution of policies and employment resources across locations.
• Assist with employee engagement initiatives and training programs.

Position Overview

Freedom Boat Club is looking for a Human Resources Coordinator to join our HR Team, to provide administrative and operational support across multiple seasonal markets. This role assists with recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, benefits administration, compliance activities, and employee inquiries while helping ensure a positive employee experience. Essential Functions

• Provide excellent customer service while answering employee requests and questions
• Support workforce planning and hiring administration through requisition management, seasonal hiring tracking, and onboarding support.
• Coordinate new hire communications and ensure onboarding tasks and paperwork are completed

• Administrative support in leave of absence tracking, FMLA, state leaves, workers compensation and other employee-related processes.
• Support the distribution and accessibility of company policies and employment resources across all locations.
• Assist with employee engagement initiatives, training programs, and projects.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
• 1-3 years of human resources, administrative, or related experience
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously
• High attention to detail with strong organizational skills
• Must handle confidential and sensitive material appropriately and with discretion

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting an hourly and/or seasonal workforce
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with Workday or other HRIS systems

Working Conditions

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer Occasional travel to dock locations

The anticipated hiring range for this position is $45,900 - $68,800. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location. This position is eligible to participate in valued Brunswick benefit offerings including 401k (up to 4% match), wellbeing program, and product purchase discounts.
