Job summary

Surgical Solutions is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to provide essential HRIS, payroll, and benefits support. The role includes managing employee files, assisting with payroll, and handling benefits enrollment, with hybrid work at our Overland Park, KS office.

You will help administer Open Enrollment, ensure compliance with I-9 and related verifications, and collaborate with HR leadership to support a fast-paced healthcare services environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or a related field.
• 1–3 years HR support, coordinator, or generalist experience.
• Knowledge of employment laws and practices; willingness to learn federal and state laws.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and able to adapt quickly.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support the HRIS; ensure data accuracy and reporting.
• Assist payroll processing and timecard review; support corrections as needed.
• Administer employee benefit programs and enrollment; handle questions.
• Coordinate Open Enrollment activities and related communications and training.
• Oversee Form I-9 process, reverifications, and rehires as needed; maintain compliant files.
• Provide general administrative support to HR and cross-functional teams.
