Job summary

Buckeye Power Sales is seeking an HR Coordinator to join our Human Resources team. You will maintain accurate records, assist with payroll, onboarding, and benefits, and support recruitment while upholding our values.

This hybrid role (3 days in office) offers daily challenges, ownership of your work, and a family-like team environment. Travel to company locations as needed and contribute to HR analytics.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old.
• Associates in HR related field preferred.
• 1-3 years HR experience preferred.
• 1-3 years of Prevailing Wage experience preferred.
• Proficiency with, or the ability to quickly learn, the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in English.
• Maintains confidentiality with sensitive information.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining accurate employee personnel records and HR-related documentation.
• Assist with payroll processing and prevailing wage reporting requirements.
• Coordinate annual Drug-Free Workplace Safety Training and maintain training records.
• Support recruitment activities including posting openings and screening.
• Coordinate pre-employment checks and onboarding activities.
• Serve as a point of contact for HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
• Enter and maintain employee data in the HRIS; generate reports and assist with HR analytics.
• Travel to company locations and recruiting events as needed.
