Job summary

Insource Services is seeking an HR Consultant II for a hybrid role in the Greater Boston area. The position offers flexibility with part-time or full-time engagement and a strong compensation package ranging from $100,000 to $140,000 annually.

You will embed with client organizations, serving as the primary HR resource for leadership, delivering comprehensive HR services, and helping manage employee relations, policy development, and compliance across industries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; higher-level degree preferred
• A minimum of 5 years of Human Resources experience with increasing autonomy
• Experience in Biotech, Startups, For-profit and shares/options preferred
• Experience working in small to mid-sized companies, from startups to 150 employees
• Demonstrated professionalism and ability to engage with clients
• Knowledge of Federal and Massachusetts employment regulations

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HR resource for clients and leadership, acting as the part-time HR Department for multiple clients
• Provide HR services and guidance on employment matters, reducing client risk
• Assist with employee relations and performance issues
• Guide on DEI initiatives, reorganization, policy creation, and leadership mentoring
• Oversee benefits, handbook updates, and job description creation
• Update policies in line with labor laws and best practices
• Coordinate onboarding and exit meetings, address employment issues, and conduct equity audits
• Participate in HR assessments and support launch of new clients
