Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred with a minimum of 8 years of experience resolving complex employee relations issues.
• Working knowledge of compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state employment laws.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent emotional intelligence skills
• Strong influence skills and the ability to navigate difficult situations
• Ability to interpret and apply laws, guidelines, regulations and policies.

Responsibilities

• Meets regularly with program VPs and their teams.
• Provides HR guidance to ensure positive outcomes.
• Analyzes trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs and policies.
• Manages complex employee relations issues and conducts investigations.
• Maintains knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees.
• Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to management.
• Improves work relationships, morale, productivity and retention.
• Provides HR policy guidance and input on restructures, workforce planning and succession.
