Job summary

adidas in Wilkes-Barre, PA is seeking an HR Generalist to support DC Operations, focusing on employee relations, onboarding, performance management, and HR metric reporting. You will partner with Talent Acquisition and Operations leaders, coach managers on talent development, assist with recruitment decisions, and lead the onboarding process for new staff.

The role embraces a hybrid schedule with in‑office Monday to Thursday and remote Friday, with strong emphasis on compliance, HRIS accuracy

Qualifications

• Four-year Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with emphasis in human resource management or psychology preferred.
• 2+ years' generalist HR and recruitment experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment required.
• Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for degree.

Responsibilities

• Establish HR as trusted partner within Operations and ensure HR initiatives and policies are understood and implemented.
• Coach leaders on talent management to motivate and challenge all team members for performance, engagement, and accountability.
• Provide guidance to employees on HR programs and policies and help navigate job issues and career development.
• Participate in multi-disciplinary projects utilizing the onsite HR team to meet objectives.
• Partner with recruitment and hiring to guide sound hiring decisions and provide expertise as needed.
• Lead onboarding for all new employees to ensure smooth acclimation.
• Consult with Operations leaders on employee relations issues and appropriate actions.
• Work with HR Specialist to keep SAP up to date on personnel data and org changes.
• Assist with verbalizing corrective actions, incident reporting, terminations, and other admin tasks.
