Job summary

King County seeks a Human Resource Associate SDA to support benefits, payroll and retirement operations during open enrollment. You will assist employees by phone, present enrollment sessions, troubleshoot login issues, and research benefits eligibility, while maintaining confidentiality and strong customer service.

This hybrid role requires teamwork, effective communication, and the ability to work with diverse groups.

Qualifications

Experience in a high-volume call environment with fast pace and deadlines.
Strong presentation skills and ability to coach on online enrollment tools.
Working knowledge of employee benefit programs, practices, and laws.
Ability to problem solve, analyze, and identify options.
Ability to research, interpret, and report program information.
Strong customer service, communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
Strong organizational, time management, project management, and planning skills.
Ability to work with diverse backgrounds and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees on benefits questions and explain benefits information.
Assist employees via phone and conduct enrollment presentations with online tools; troubleshoot login issues.
Research, troubleshoot, and resolve eligibility issues; escalate as needed.
Participate in system testing prior to open enrollment.
Other duties as assigned.
