Beaver Run Resort & Conference Center in Breckenridge, CO seeks a seasoned Controller to lead day-to-day accounting operations, including GL, AP, AR, and payroll, with a focus on GAAP compliance, internal controls, and month-end close. The role manages audits, intercompany activity, and accounting automation in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

The position starts at $110,000–$140,000 annually DOE, with on-site work and potential hybrid arrangements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required; CPA/CMA preferred
• Minimum 10+ years of progressive financial management experience
• Minimum 3+ years of supervisory/leadership experience in a hospitality or multi-department setting
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and month-end close processes
• Experience with hospitality systems and intercompany accounting
• Proficiency with ERP and accounting automation initiatives

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly financial close, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and reviews
• Oversee GL, AP, AR, payroll, and revenue accounting functions
• Manage owner and rental program accounting and reconciliations
• Coordinate audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
• Drive process improvements and integration between NetSuite and other systems
• Mentor and develop finance staff and ensure policy adherence
