Job summary

RED Hospitality & Leisure is seeking an experienced Controller to manage full P&L accounting for a multi-entity hospitality organization. You will own the accounting cycle and financial reporting for your assigned business unit(s), ensure GAAP compliance, and provide strategic financial insight to market leadership.

This role is hybrid with ~10% travel to support oversight across entities. The position emphasizes process improvement, automation, and strong technical accounting judgment, with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• 3–5 years of progressive accounting/finance experience.
• Experience with multi-entity consolidation and P&L management.
• Expertise in U.S. GAAP and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Oversees complete accounting cycle for assigned units: GL, AP, AR, payroll, intercompany, consolidations.
• Owns P&L outcomes: budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, monthly/quarterly reporting.
• Manages month-end/year-end close, audit support, external reporting per U.S. GAAP.
• Maintains AR/AP aging and health; oversees payroll entries and accruals.
• Prepares weekly performance reports and supports strategic planning with leadership.
