Job summary

Delta Community Credit Union is seeking a Home Loan Processor to review and verify mortgage loan documentation for residential first and second mortgages. The role requires applying Fannie Mae and Delta Community guidelines with timely processing and adherence to state and federal regulations.

The successful candidate will coordinate with underwriters, appraisers and borrowers, manage required documents and ensure underwriting submissions and closing timelines are met.

Qualifications

• Mortgage loan processing experience using industry guidelines (Fannie Mae).
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to coordinate with underwriters, attorneys, appraisers and members.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify mortgage loan documentation incl. income, assets, liabilities and credit reports.
• Request and obtain appraisals, title reports, flood certificates, insurance, verifications and transcripts.
• Ensure files meet underwriting guidelines and submit for underwriting approval.
• Maintain knowledge of federal/state mortgage regulations and company policies.
• Communicate with team members, vendors and borrowers regarding loan qualifications, approvals or denials.
• Ensure closing timelines are met.
