Job summary

Golden 1 Credit Union in California is seeking a Home Loan Sr Processor to coordinate and advance mortgage transactions through processing, underwriting, and closing in a hybrid work setting. This non-exempt role reports to the Manager - Home Loan Processing within Home Loan Operations.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in mortgage processing, FHA loan experience, and strong attention to detail. You will verify income/assets, interpret DU findings, and ensure compliance with RESPA/TILA/AML

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED preferred.
• 5+ years in financial institution mortgage processing.
• Recent FHA loan processing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and communicate loan information with Members, Advisors, and Vendors.
• Order title reports, appraisals, and related documents; verify accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with BSA, RESPA, TILA, TRID and AML rules.
• Review income and assets; update LOS with calculations.
• Interpret DU findings and update DU and LOS accordingly.
• Maintain HMDA data and respond to quality control issues.
• Know FNMA, FHA, and G1 equity products and investor guidelines.
• Manage pipeline to meet service levels and loan quality.
