Job summary

Ulteig in the United States is seeking a Substation Electrical Engineering Intern to join our Substation Department for Summer 2027. This internship offers hands‑on experience in high‑voltage substation design and exposure to protection and control concepts within a collaborative consulting environment.

You will support engineering teams, assist in drawings, calculations, and documentation, and participate in design reviews and training sessions.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with two years of coursework completed by Summer 2027.
• Strong communication, attention to detail, and a commitment to learning.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering teams with high‑voltage substation design tasks (69kV–500kV).
• Assist in preparing drawings, calculations, and documentation for deliverables.
• Receive mentorship and complete tasks aligned with project schedules and client expectations.
• Participate in internal design reviews, team meetings, and training sessions.
• Potential site visits to support field data collection and exposure to real‑world infrastructure.
• Contribute to designs for utility and renewable energy clients.
