Job summary

Ulteig is seeking Substation Electrical Engineering Interns for Summer 2027 in our Substation Department. You will gain hands-on experience in high-voltage substation design and learn from experienced engineers in a collaborative consulting environment.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a bachelor's in electrical engineering with at least two years of coursework by Summer 2027, have strong communication skills, and are available to work full-time.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with a minimum of two years of coursework by Summer 2027.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to learning.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering teams with high‑voltage substation design tasks (69kV-500kV).
• Assist in preparing engineering drawings, calculations, and documentation for project deliverables.
• Receive mentorship and complete tasks aligned with project schedules and client expectations.
• Participate in internal design reviews, team meetings, and training sessions.
• Possible site visits to support field data collection and gain real-world exposure.
