Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Requires at least 10 years of experience in Information Technology and Services.
• At least 7 years of this experience must have been within Application Development and Support and three years of this experience must have been in a supervisory position.
• Experience in the health insurance or healthcare technology sector is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience leading large-scale digital transformation initiatives and enterprise modernization programs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full software development lifecycle (SDLC) for health insurance systems, including enrollment, claims, provider networks, and customer portals.
• Lead application modernization efforts, including cloud migration or refactoring monolithic systems into microservices.
• Collaborate with business and product teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory and security standards (e.g., HIPAA, HITRUST).
• Drive adoption of best practices in coding, testing, DevOps, and Agile delivery.
