Job summary

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas is seeking an Enterprise Architect to define and evolve enterprise-wide technology architecture. You will partner with business and IT leaders to create target-state architectures and roadmaps spanning applications, data, security, and cloud, aligning with a cloud-first strategy.

This senior role collaborates with security and compliance teams to ensure threat modeling, encryption, and HIPAA considerations are embedded.

Qualifications

• Define and govern enterprise architecture across portfolios and products.
• Experience with cloud, security, and data architecture frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Define and govern enterprise architecture across application, data, security, integration, and cloud domains.
• Lead architecture governance and decision records to ensure secure-by-design solutions.
• Provide end-to-end solution architecture for initiatives including data flows and security controls.
• Guide cloud and data platform modernization with migration paths and tradeoffs.
• Mentor teams and promote engineering best practices (CI/CD, IaC, testing) to reduce tech debt.
