Job summary

Marsh’s Health and Benefits Summer Internship for 2027 is based in Washington, DC, with a hybrid schedule requiring three days in the office each week. The program runs from Monday, June 7 through Friday, August 13, 2027, with no alternative start or end dates.

You will collect and analyze healthcare claims data, support the RFP process, and assist senior consultants with client needs and implementation strategies. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a related field with expected graduation Fall 2027 or Spring 2028
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Permanent U.S. work authorization without sponsorship needed now or in the future

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze healthcare claims and utilization data
• Support the RFP process on behalf of clients
• Assist senior consultants with client needs and implementation strategies
• Model employee benefit contributions to meet employer objectives
• Prepare client deliverables, including reports and presentations
• Support benchmarking efforts for employer-sponsored health plans
