Job summary

Marsh is seeking a talented intern to join the Health and Benefits team within our People and Investments group. The internship will be based in Chicago, IL or Houston, TX and is a hybrid role requiring at least three days in the office each week. Internship runs Monday, June 7 through Friday, August 13, 2027 with no alternate start/end dates.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in business, math, statistics, economics, health administration, or related field.
• Currently enrolled with expected graduation Fall 2027 or Spring 2028.
• Preferred GPA: 3.0/4.0; must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Analyze healthcare claims and utilization data, including cost projections.
• Support the RFP process for clients.
• Assist senior consultants in reviewing client needs and strategies.
• Model employee benefit contributions to meet employer objectives.
• Prepare client deliverables, reports, spreadsheets, and presentations.
• Contribute to the National Survey of Employer-Sponsored Health Plans benchmarks.
