Thrivent Financial seeks a Growth & Development Manager for Virtual Advice in a hybrid role based in Houston. Lead a local team of nationally licensed advisors serving clients nationwide, coaching on consultative sales and deepening client relationships to drive sales and productivity.

Role emphasizes onboarding, performance management, and cross-channel talent development. The ideal candidate has a business/management degree, several years of advisor leadership, and active securities licensing;

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or related field.
• Experience as financial advisor and leading a team of eight or more.
• Must be eligible for securities and insurance licensing in all states; FINRA Series 7/63/65/66 and Life/Health licenses preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coach and develop advisors; conduct on-site and virtual coaching sessions.
• Lead onboarding and training to accelerate productivity and skill development.
• Interview, hire, and build a high-performing team; manage performance and budgets.
• Align with organizational objectives and drive sales growth; partner with leadership.
