Job summary

The University of Pittsburgh's Medical and Health Sciences Foundation is seeking a Development Associate III to lead fundraising activities, develop prospects, and manage a portfolio. The role includes coordinating proposals and supporting major gift initiatives, with travel as needed.

You will collaborate across the School of Public Health and development staff, producing CRM reports and contributing to communications, proposals, and stewardship across the donor base.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• At least 4 years of fundraising experience or related field.
• Ability to cultivate donor prospects and manage a portfolio.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Manage and cultivate a portfolio of donor prospects, including outreach and engagement.
• Support major gift fundraising initiatives and prepare briefing materials.
• Coordinate fundraising campaigns from planning through execution.
• Generate and analyze CRM reports to inform strategy.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to prepare proposals and communications.
• Represent development office in cross-functional meetings.
• Maintain donor relationships to enhance engagement and retention.
