Job summary

The UCLA Latino Policy & Politics Institute (LPPI) seeks a Development Coordinator to support fundraising, donor engagement, and grant activities. The hybrid role requires Southern California residency with in-person meetings and occasional travel for conferences and organizational events.

Under the Deputy Director, you will coordinate development plans, maintain data and reporting, and assist with donor cultivation and stewardship, collaborating with LPPI leadership and the UCLA Luskin

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of fundraising experience or related field preferred.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills with the LPPI team and leadership.
• Ability to work with senior faculty or leadership at a comparable organization.
• Strong project management with the ability to handle multi-phase tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication about fundraising goals.

Responsibilities

• Support LPPI's fundraising and development activities per the development plan.
• Coordinate grant and donor engagement activities and prospect research.
• Assist with proposal development and donor cultivation.
• Maintain development data and develop reporting.
• Collaborate with LPPI leadership and UCLA Luskin development team.
