Job summary

California Immigrant Policy Center (CIPC) seeks a Development Coordinator to support fundraising efforts, grant writing, donor stewardship, and development operations. You will work under the Development Director to implement the annual development plan, including grants, corporate philanthropy, major gifts, and sponsorships.

The role involves collaboration with the Executive and program teams to ensure timely grant submissions and reports, maintain donor relationships, and help meet fundraising

Qualifications

• Experience in nonprofit development, fundraising, grant writing, or related field.
• Commitment to immigrant rights, racial and economic justice.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially grant proposals and donor communications.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
• Experience with donor databases and CRM systems preferred (Salesforce, Raiser's Edge).
• Ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with written grant proposals and reports to private foundations, corporate funders, and government agencies.
• Coordinate with staff to gather information and data for proposals and reports.
• Maintain grant tracking systems and calendars for deliverables.
• Support donor cultivation and stewardship activities, including communications.
• Plan and execute fundraising events and logistics.
