Job summary

Tanium Inc. is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to build and maintain flagship products within a hybrid, part-time in-office role across multiple US locations.

You’ll join an agile team, shaping data services, dashboards, and external APIs with GraphQL, while collaborating with product management and customers for feedback. The role requires 5+ years’ experience, backend/frontend fluency, and knowledge of Golang or Node.js.

Qualifications

• 5+ years industry experience.
• Experience designing scalable backend services and APIs.
• Knowledge of Golang, Node.js, or other modern languages.
• Relational databases such as Postgres, SQL, or MySQL.
• Experience with HTTP API design and development.
• Experience with Git and Jenkins.
• Experience integrating AI tools and prompt engineering.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Tanium's products with an agile development team.
• Design, develop and test new product ideas with product management for feedback and input.
• Work on small teams tackling big challenges in data service, time-series data, dashboards, and GraphQL exposure.
• Deliver higher level services enabling security, operations and auditing.
