Job summary

Tanium is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build and maintain scalable backend services powering our products. This hybrid role requires in-office presence at least three days a week in Bellevue, WA, with collaboration across product management and customers for input.

You will design, develop and test new product ideas from the ground up, partner with a nimble team, and focus on security, performance and reliability while embracing automation and AI-assisted tooling to accelerate delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Advanced knowledge of C++ and backend services.
• Experience with public cloud technologies (AWS/Azure).
• Experience with cryptographic primitives, TLS, PKI and HTTP API design.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Tanium's servers and client alongside a highly agile development team.
• Focus on customer engagement and feedback to design right-from-start products.
• Design, develop and test new product ideas from the ground up with product management input.
