Job summary

Join SAS as a Full Stack Developer for the EVAAS Identity Solution in a hybrid role based in Cary, NC. You will build secure, reliable web applications across front-end, back-end, and data layers, focusing on identity management, authentication, authorization, and SSO capabilities that empower educators and students.

You will work with SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, and modern Java tech stacks while collaborating with product, security, and DevOps teams to meet high SLA expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• 5+ years of experience developing and delivering web-based applications.
• Experience with full stack development, APIs, and relational databases.
• Hands-on experience with Java.
• Identity management, authentication, authorization, and SSO concepts.
• Familiarity with SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect.
• Version control and collaborative software development practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain full stack features for an Identity Solution across front-end, back-end, API, and database layers.
• Build and enhance secure authentication and authorization workflows, including SSO integrations for customer-facing applications.
• Work with identity systems and standards (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect) to support scalable access patterns.
• Collaborate with product, security, DevOps, and engineering teams to deliver a reliable Identity Solution.
• Contribute to open-source projects on behalf of SAS.
• Ensure security policies and secure SDLC practices are followed.
