Job summary

SAS is seeking a Senior Application Security Architect to strengthen security across multi-tier solutions spanning legacy, hybrid, and cloud environments. You will collaborate with R&D, cloud hosting, and product teams to implement secure design, threat modeling, and code reviews to reduce risk.

The role requires deep expertise in secure software development, web security, and modern cloud security practices, and offers a hybrid work model with a strong emphasis on compliance and customer

Qualifications

• 8+ years in secure software development or secure architecture.
• 4+ years in software security practices.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/EE; security certifications (CISSP, CEH, CCSP, CSSLP, CISM).
• Knowledge of global enterprise security risks and MITRE TTPs.
• Experience with languages such as C/C++, Java, Python, JavaScript, PHP, Golang.
• Expertise securing enterprise web applications; OWASP Top 10 familiarity.
• Experience with microservices, containers, and cloud hosting security.
• Equivalent combination of education/experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate across R&D and cloud hosting to improve security posture of multi-tier solutions (legacy, hybrid, public cloud).
• Plan evolutionary paths for secure architectures, integrating third-party architectures and Zero Trust principles.
• Provide security assessment and hardening across SDLC; threat modeling and code reviews.
• Collaborate with Product Management to align security with business objectives and regulations.
• Identify and train Security Champions within product R&D teams.
• Create and maintain secure engineering documentation and PSO standards.
• Promote Secure SDLC tools/processes; mentor within PSO and security architects.
• Ensure security policies and processes support secure software development goals.
